Spectacular BUSINESS city becomes a CATALYST

TownTown in Vienna’s third district marks not only a new, forward-looking urban quarter, but is also one of the largest Private-Public-Partnership projects in the real estate industry in Austria.

After the completion of the neighbouring headquarters of PriceWaterhouseCoopers, we worked with the City of Vienna to develop an independent town within the city with its own infrastructure and metro station. Building a platform over the two big underground metro service halls created the chance for this new business city. Furthermore, the direct position on the axis of the inner city and the airport has made TownTown an ideal business location.

The unique concept “Design your own Company Building” allowed interested parties to design their corporate headquarters to their precise needs right from the outset for the first time. Many renowned companies have opted for TownTown, including Generali Versicherungs AG, Wiener Krankenanstaltenverbund, municipal departments 6, 10, 15 and 40, Wien Energie GmbH, Consulting Engineers ILF, APK Pensionskasse AG and Deniz Bank AG.
