A new cultural HOTSPOT

Since 2015, the former coffin production Atzgersdorf , whose history as a machine, box and wooden goods factory dates back to 1913, has been used for art and culture. In January 2018, SORAVIA was awarded the contract by the City of Vienna to purchase the property with around 10,000 square meters of usable space.

The “Fabrik1230” will continue to serve as a location for art and culture in the future. In addition, gastronomy areas, offices and a health center are to be created.

The renovation of the listed property will be carried out in close coordination with the Federal Office for the Protection of Monuments and is intended to serve as a cultural center for the entire neighborhood.
