Ruby Hotels

STAYING with FRIENDS

Hello Ruby! Lean luxury is the philosophy of the rapidly expanding hotel group, Ruby Hotels. The focus is on providing the luxury of a design hotel at affordable prices for discerning guests, with a love of the unique, the original.

Every hotel is in a central location and offers top design and high-quality room furnishings together with comprehensive multimedia facilities. And all of this at an unexpectedly low price. This is facilitated by consciously foregoing expensive extras such as an in-house restaurant, fitness centre or reception.

We were won over by this concept of lean luxury. SORAVIA holds a stake of 20% and we are expediting the expansion strategy. The other shareholders in Ruby Hotels, each with an equal stake, are Franger Investments, Michael Hehn and Michael Struck.

Following the opening of the first Ruby Hotel – the Ruby Sofie in Vienna’s Sofiensäle – two additional hotels have already opened in Vienna: Ruby Marie – the former La Stafa department store on Mariahilferstraße and Ruby Lissi – at the Fleischmarkt.

With the opening of Ruby Lilly in Munich, the hotel group entered the German market.
In 2018, the young hotel group opened its fifth and sixth hotel with Ruby Coco in Düsseldorf and Ruby Lotti in Hamburg.
From the first half of 2019 there will be another Ruby Hotel in Düsseldorf and travellers in Shanghai will soon be able to stay in a Ruby Hotel. Further hotels in Frankfurt am Main, Cologne, London, Zurich and Helsinki are planned.
